Thought to be the first of its kind in Britain, three iconic motorcycle brands will be relocating to a new motorcycle ‘village’ as part of a new £10 million development at Hillington Park business park, Glasgow.

Housing purpose-built facilities for West Coast Harley-Davidson, Ducati Glasgow and Triumph Glasgow, the two 18,000 sqft showrooms should open their doors in early 2017, creating up to 50 new employment opportunities.

Don Rutherford, managing director for West Coast Harley-Davidson, said “to tie in this exciting development alongside Ducati and Triumph is a fantastic opportunity that will provide Scotland with a real class leading hub for bikers. Once complete complete, our building will be one of the largest Harley-Davidson dealerships in Europe.”

Home to retail, industrial and office units, Hillington Park is host to more than 500 businesses and over 8,000 employees. Local construction company Pacific Building has won the £4m contract, creating 100 jobs for the duration of the build. Construction began at the end of May this year, and is to be completed in early 2017.
