Last Saturday, a group of motorcyclists protested in London against the increase of violence towards motorcyclists.

Organised by Facebook group ‘#BikersUnited’, hundreds of motorcyclists rode through central London, passing the Houses of Parliament.

On the group’s Facebook page, the organisers posted: “65 bikes are stolen per day in London, riders face violence, knives, acid and even death from the thieves, insurance companies are withdrawing from London, bike manufacturers are seeing reduced new bike sales, the Police face constant barriers to effectively fight this crimewave, and the judiciary fail us all with weak sentencing.”
