Who has thought of touring Scotland in the belief that you have to go to the Highlands to find the roads and scenery we all want to experience, well that myth is about to be disgarded with the opening of a new website advertising the delights of the Scottish Borders.

www.motorcyclescotland.com  has been set up by a group of biker friendly businesses who are keen to spread the word about the region, and have set up the group to assist those riders interested in touring and those in the broader area. The whole scheme has been financially supported by the VisitScotland Growth Fund, Dumfries & Galloway Council and the safety Camera Partnership.

Information on the site includes such things as Routes, Accommodation, Events and News though there is much more to see, eventually they want the site to have suitable information covering the whole of Scotland and become the main portal for people visiting the whole of the country.
