3 years ago, in The House of Commons, The Green Organisation presented Ross Environment with the National Silver Trophy for Environmental Improvement for a paper we wrote on hazardous oil spills. These spills become more hazardous the longer they remain in place.
The Ross Eliminator removes totally most oil spills in 15 / 20 seconds when brushed into a spillage. Being a heavy power a little may blow in the wind but as absorption is virtually instanteous the vast majority of the powder does what you want – i.e. removes the hazard. The product is sustainable – cotton – 8 times more absorbent than clay granules, cost effective and eco friendly. In a process of bioremediation it turns harmful hydrocarbons into a water vapour and a little carbon dioxide.
Our Eliminator Degreaser performs the same function on dry spills.

The TISS "Impregnable" anti-siphon is the only anti-siphon available in the world that prevents diesel spills. This is due to its unique float-valve, which allows fuel to flow into the tank, but locks-off once the tank is full. Consequently, it is impossible to overfill the tank, meaning diesel spills cannot occur. In addition to preventing spills, the device also prevents 3rd party fuel theft and driver 'skimming' - the practice of drivers stealing the top few litres of fuel for their own personal use. Since the launch of the "Impregnable" 18 months ago, TISS have sold in excess of 5,000 units to a range of companies including Tesco, DHL-Exel, Imperial Tankers, Castle Cement and of course, Sainsburys, who were the recipients of the 2006 "Kill Spills" award after fitting their fleet with the "Impregnable".
FYI - we have continued to heavily promote the issue of diesel spills and this has been picked up by a magazine called Truck & Driver. They are the biggest selling Truck magazine in the UK and in next month's issue are covering diesel spills. As part of the coverage they are offering our anti-siphon at a discounted price in an effort to encourage more people to fit the system. The mags available from most newsagents and supermarkets so you should be able to easily get a copy.
