The carrying/use of hi-vis vests at breakdown

Compulsory

The carrying/use of warning triangles at breakdown

Mandatory for vehicles with 4 wheels, however if you ride a sidecar or Trike it may be advisable to take one. 
 

The use of Bluetooth headset for communication with pillion and sat nav (both built in and external units)

 A regulation is due in June 2009
to authorise such headsets for both built in and external units

Use of sat navs with radar/speed camera warning devices

 Prohibited

Carrying spare bulbs

Not necessary 

Headlight beam deflection (inc modern headlights with flat beam)

No- but you must not dazzle approaching traffic 

Min age limit for pillion riders

 12 yrs old and must be able to use footrests properly
