bmf Show Winner Norman Conquers All!

bmf Show Winner Norman Conquers All!

When bmf show goer Norman Ford purchased his two £1 raffle tickets, little did he know that by the end of the weekend he would be the winner of a brand new Honda CB1000R!

The bmf’s unique Win-A-Bike/Choose-A-Bike prize draw offered the winner the choice of a Yamaha XVS1300 Midnight Star, a Suzuki GSXR600 or a Honda CB1000R, with proceeds going in aid of the bmf Foundation charity.

A chuffed Norman said, “When I arrived home on Sunday evening after visiting the bmf show I received a ‘phone call from Martin telling me I’d won the bike and at first I thought it was a complete wind-up, but as I knew I wasn’t ready for a cruiser yet and my son-in-law has a GSX600R and I didn’t want to upstage him, the Honda was the one for me!”

The bmf’s Government Relations Executive Chris Hodder, accompanied by Martin Chick from the bmf’s show organisers, the Mulberry Group, made the presentation at the George White dealership in Swindon. Norman, currently a VFR owner, soon got to grips with the bike and in no time at all was heading off into the glorious sunshine on the return journey to his home in Redditch in Worcestershire.

Before he left Norman said “I’d like to thank the bmf for putting this prize up at the show and of course for the great work they do on behalf of all motorcyclists – whatever they ride”

Martin Chick said, “This was just one of our new initiatives for the bmf’s events and we wish Norman many safe and happy years of riding and look forward to welcoming him and everyone else to all bmf events.”
