The BMF recognises the need for sites to comply with the best practice, legal and regulatory guidelines. While we are not yet 100 per cent compliant with best practice, we are working hard to ensure that we move towards this goal.
- You can view our full privacy and data policies here.

IP Addresses and Log File Data
The BMF site does not automatically capture or store personal information, other than logging the user's IP Address or the location of your computer or network on the Internet, for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. We believe that it is important to make our website accessible to all users. With this in mind, we have worked hard to improve the ease of use for visually impaired users.
In particular, we have ensured the availability of "alt text", a simple and clear approach to online layout and improved colour contrast. Our site works well in text-only browsers and fits the criteria for people with visual impairment. We hope that this makes the site accessible to as many visually impaired users as possible, but we recognise the need to continue to improve in this area.
