National and One Makes Clubs Forum 2019
On May 18, the BMF's National and One Makes Clubs Forum (NOMC) was held at the Hoskyn Centre in Rugby.
The meeting, which was hosted by the NOMC’s Chairman Stephen Davenport and Secretary John Gardner, discussed matters raised through the Forum, including items for the BMF AGM on October 12.
The Forum also elected a full complement of 11 Councillors, en bloc, to represent the NOMC on the main BMF Council, which advises and directs policy through the BMF's Directors.
The BMF's Directors attending – Chairman Jim Freeman, Political and Technical Services Director Anna Zee and Membership Services Director Peter Laidlaw – reported on all aspects of the BMF's operations.
A presentation was made by the Chairman of Warwickshire and Solihull Blood Bikes, Mark Lavery, about the operation of WSBB. As the BMF has previously reported, the WSBB were recently under threat of closure but Mark updated the NOMC on the situation and this has been resolved.
The meeting closed at 4pm, with Chairman Steve wishing everybody a safe ride home and thanking them for a productive meeting.
