Triumph has launched an approved pre-owned scheme.

Paul Lilly, Triumph UK and Ireland General Manager, said: “After undertaking considerable market research, we found the majority of riders looking to purchase a used model were often put off by the perceived risk of hidden mechanical issues.”

In response, Triumph will test and approve pre-owned motorcycles before selling them at official dealerships.

Each motorcycle will be examined by a technician who will check the engine, exhaust system, brakes, fluids, electrics and other elements. The motorcycle will then subjected to a road test and finally valeted.

The Triumph Approved scheme will accept motorcycles that are less than five years old and which have travelled less than 25,000 miles
