New figures released by BMF Corporate Member the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) have revealed that January’s winning streak extended into February and the steady year-on-year growth in sales and registrations has continued.

Following on from January’s modest but promising growth, February’s sales and registrations showed consistency with January’s upward trend with 3% year-on-year growth overall to 4,607 machines of all kinds. The total number of sales in the year to date now stands at 10,753.

On closer examination, some machines had a particularly good month. Adventure sport bikes saw 8.7% growth year-on-year, while naked bikes forged ahead with 14.4% growth.

Unfortunately, scooters weren’t able to sustain their impressive 9.5% growth from January’s figures, seeing a 7.9% year-on-year drop in February instead.
