The Nmoto Nostalgia, a new hand-built motorbike inspired by the 1934 BMW R7, is available to order from Miami-based Nmoto.

Combining the aesthetic of the 1934 BMW prototype that never entered full production with contemporary performance, the Nostalgia uses a modern BMW R nineT as its foundation and incorporates 96 handcrafted pieces, including 74 custom parts created in-house by Nmoto.

Constructed primarily of aluminium, the Nostalgia is lighter than both the stock BMW R nineT and the original. It has a 110-horsepower boxer engine that offers a top speed of 140mph (225kph) and also features a 12-litre fuel tank, six-speed gearbox, traction control and anti-lock braking.

Alex Niznik founded the Nmoto studio after seeing an original BMW R7 at PebbleBeach in 2012. “In creating the Nostalgia motorcycle, we wanted to pay proper homage and respect to our inspiration,” he says. “We also wanted something that was more than a collectable. The Nostalgia was designed to be a motorcycle you can actually ride comfortably on a daily basis.”

The Nostalgia will be available in limited numbers and in 11 colour combinations. For more information, visit
