Riders for Health raised £3,200 in just 30 minutes in an auction on the Blackhorse stage at Birmingham’s Motorcycle Live event. The event, hosted by Bennets, saw motorcycle commentary legend Toby Moody auction photographs capturing some of the best live action from the past year and featured racers from the Isle of Man TT, World Superbikes and British Superbikes. All funds raised have been matched by government donations, meaning that a total of £6400 has been donated to he medical charity.

An image of Valentino Rossi fetched a staggering £1,500 whilst bidders also got their hands on photographs of fellow champions Marc Marquez and Scott Redding. Elsewhere, £650 was raised from images of Chris Walker, Bruce Anstey and John McGuinness with the stars present to help auction their own images.
