This month Triumph is trying to break one world record after another.

While we’re still waiting to hear about Guy Martin’s land speed record attempt, last weekend more that 600 riders paraded the roads of Nottinghamshire to gain a very different record and raise money for children with cancer.

The organisers are currently waiting for official confirmation for setting the record for the biggest parade of Triumph motorcycles ever. Up to 688 riders were expected to attend the event.

29 year old Jessica Simpkin, who set up the charitable fund, said: “It was brilliant. I didn't expect so many bikers to come out and support the charity.

“It is so important to me because I suffer from brain tumours and have just had six removed. I wanted to raise £29,000 so I can raise £1,000 for every year I have lived.”
