TyreSafe is celebrating its 10th anniversary year and has announced that it has been officially awarded full charity status.

It is a major boost to the campaign on tyre safety which has operated as a non-profit organisation for the past 10 years.

Stuart Jackson, chairman of TyreSafe, said: “TyreSafe is delighted to have been awarded charity status, which is a major step forward for tyre safety awareness…[it] provides us with a springboard to further increase the reach of the potentially life-saving tyre safety message which has been achieved over the past ten years.”

Tyres are the only thing connecting you to the road and you should check their condition frequently. For advice on checking your motorcycle tyres, visit the TyreSafe website.
