Thinking about joining a motorcycle club but not sure if it’s for you? Here are some of the benefits that you might want to consider...

Ride-outs and events

Most motorcycle clubs organise and participate in regular ride-outs, bike shows and rallies. Many also arrange longer trips across the country and even abroad. The club's team will take care of the timings and logistics, meaning that you can just turn up and enjoy the experience. Plus, there's nothing better than riding together with your friends!

A number of clubs offer discounts from partner businesses, covering everything from insurance to clothing. Check with the club you’re looking to join what they can offer as part of your membership.

Learning from others

One of the great advantages of joining a motorcycle club is that it gives you access to a wealth of knowledge from other members. Whether you’re new to riding or a seasoned veteran, chances are you’ll pick up some excellent tips and advice from your fellow riders. You'll be able to further develop your riding and maintenance skills, and find out about some of the best routes in your area. And if nothing else, it gives you a great opportunity to check out some other models!

The social side

While the main focus of any club will always be riding, many organise a whole range of regular social events that you can get involved with. These could range from a monthly quiz night to large-scale charity fundraisers. It’s a great way of getting to know other members better and finding out what else you might have in common.

Community spirit

Ultimately, nothing beats being part of a group of like-minded people with a shared passion. Any club you join is likely to have members of all ages and backgrounds, as well as motivations. But whatever your reasons for joining, you’re sure to find support, friendship and camaraderie!
